Blown up on an enemy mine: how the age of pyrotechnics passed
An enemy mine detonated a combine near the village of Andriivka, Izyum district, Kharkiv region. This happened while working in the field. As a result, the harvester received minor injuries from glass fragments. The man refused hospitalization.
To survey the area adjacent to the explosion site, a pyrotechnic calculation of the State Emergency Service was involved. Thanks to them, two units of other agricultural machinery were evacuated from the field.
During the day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved five times. Rescuers found, recovered and defused four explosive objects. They surveyed an area of 0.44 hectares.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, pyrotechnics have defused 428 thousand 380 explosive objects and 2 thousand 892 kilograms of explosives, including 3 thousand 90 aircraft bombs. They surveyed an area of more than 93 thousand 824 hectares.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: in Kharkiv, Kiev, Donetsk, Nikolaev, Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy and Cherkasy regions.
Rescuers once again appeal to citizens with a request to be extremely careful. Do not ignore warning signs, do not drive on untested roads. It's dangerous. If you find a suspicious object, call 101 or 102.
