During the analysis of rubble on the territory of the shopping center in Kremenchug, three rescuers of the State Emergency Service were injured — Yevhenii Yenin
The injured rescuers are hospitalized, there is currently no threat to their lives. The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine told about this in the live broadcast of the All-Ukrainian Telemarathon “UАsAlamo”.
“The search work continues. The units of the State Emergency Service have already examined and disassembled the fragments of building structures on 75% of the total area of the object. Usually such work lasts a week or more. But, thanks to the involvement of rescuers from neighboring areas, the National Guard, the police, municipal officials, the time for dismantling the rubble was significantly reduced. Unfortunately, today at 4:00 in the morning, during preparation for the dismantling of reinforced concrete slabs, there was a displacement of one of them. Three employees of the State Emergency Service were injured. It is known that one of them has a pelvic bone fracture, another has a closed craniocerebral injury and sprain of the ligaments of the right leg. The injured emergency workers are hospitalized, there is no threat to their lives,” Yevhenii Yenin said.
Recall, on June 27, two Russian missiles hit Kremenchuk, one of them hit a shopping center. At the time of the rocket hit, about two thousand people were on the territory of the shopping center and the surrounding areas. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine went to the place. Currently, 18 people are known dead, 61 people are injured; 21 people are considered missing.
