Thanks to the procedure of establishing a person via video conferencing, Mr. Mykhailo from Kharkiv region at 59 years old and a 22-year-old internally displaced Roma girl were able to obtain their first passport as a citizen of Ukraine. For the first time, migrants issued a document certifying the identity of 19-year-old Peter Gulya.

In accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, in order to issue a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID-card for the first time after reaching the age of 18, it is necessary to carry out the procedure of establishing a person with the involvement of family members or close persons. Employees of the Zhytomyr department carried out the procedure of identifying a person via video conference for a 22-year-old citizen.

The Roma girl is an internally displaced person and was not able to get a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in time because of the war. Already in the city of Zhytomyr, where the girl moved, she will be able to get her first passport.

Migrants from the Kholodnogorsk Department of the Main Department of the State Health Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region helped to issue a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for the first time in 59 years.

Volunteers of the NGO “Common Cause for People” turned to the Kholodnogorsk department for help. Mr. Mykhailo, a resident of Kharkiv, has a disability and, due to life difficulties, lived without valid documents all the years of independence of Ukraine. Thanks to volunteers and migrants, the man received his first valid document through the identification procedure.

Employees of the Vyzhnytsky Department of the UDMS in the Chernivtsi region issued the first passport of a citizen to a resident of the village of Stari Kuty to 19-year-old Petr Hula.

The guy was raised in a large family, one of his brothers is now defending Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces. All family members have identity documents and proof of citizenship. However, it so happened that the youngest of all children, after leaving school, helped his parents with the household, was not officially employed and did not study anywhere. After 5 years, the young man realized the need to obtain a Ukrainian passport and applied to the nearest unit of the migration service with an application for registration of an ID card.
