Crossing the state border, a 19-year-old began to run towards Slovakia
At the checkpoint “Mali Selmentsy” border guards detained a 19-year-old citizen of Ukraine who rushed to cross the state border.
On the way to leave Ukraine, the young man waited for the completion of the registration of the previous persons, entered the territory of the checkpoint and suddenly began to run in the direction of Slovakia. He did not stop in the customs control zone and tried to bypass border control when he was detained by the outfit.
Desperate, he did not respond to the legal requirements of the border guards, so they had to apply physical measures against him. The detainee turned out to be a citizen of Ukraine and called himself a resident of the city of Kropyvnytskyi.
The offender was detained administratively for a period of up to three days in order to draw up procedural documents and clarify the circumstances of the case.
Now he will have to answer to the law for three offenses at once: for violation of the regime at the checkpoints across the state border (Article 202KUPAP); for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine (Article 204-1 of the KuPAP); for malicious disobedience to a lawful order or demand of a serviceman or employee of the State Border Guard Services of Ukraine (Article 185-10 of the Code of Civil Procedure).
The decision in the last two cases will be made by the court.
