A drug group that sold drugs on the territory of Kyiv and Kyiv region will appear before the court
Law enforcement officers proved the involvement of seven detainees in 38 episodes of criminal offenses committed as part of an organized group. They face up to fifteen years in prison with confiscation of property.
During the special operation, the investigators of the Kiev police, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and the officers of the Office of Combating Drug Crimes in the city of Kyiv, stopped the activities of the criminal group, which is involved in the production and sale of psychotropic substances. The defendants sold “goods” on the territory of the city of Kiev and the Kiev region.
Law enforcement officers established that the offenders had arranged in advance a place - a drug laboratory, where they were engaged in the manufacture of psychotropic substances. During the investigation, the police seized about 300 kilograms of precursors, 20 kilograms of psychotropic substance - PVP alpha, cannabis, more than 200 MDMA pills, amphetamine and ammunition. Thanks to the collected evidence base, the police proved the involvement of seven detainees in 38 episodes of criminal offenses committed as part of an organized group.
In addition, it was found that in the criminal group there were two organizers who coordinated the actions of other participants. In order to obtain systematic profit from illegal activities, drug businessmen ensured the uninterrupted production of dangerous psychotropic substances - PVP, as well as the illegal purchase for the purpose of marketing a psychotropic substance - amphetamine.
Currently, pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings initiated under Part 3 of Art. 28 - the commission of a crime by a group of persons, a group of persons by a previous conspiracy, an organized group or a criminal organization, part 2 of Art. 306 - the use of funds obtained from the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic drugs substances, their analogues, precursors, poisonous or potent substances or poisonous or potent drugs, part 3 of Article 307- Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or marketing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, and part 3 of Art. 313 - theft, appropriation, extortion of equipment intended for the manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, or possession of it by fraud or abuse of office and other illegal actions with such equipment of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, completed.
The materials of the proceedings together with the indictment are sent to the court for a decision on the merits. The defendants face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
