Before the Battle of the Glances, Alexander Usyk unfurled the flag of the 11th border detachment
As you know, the fight between Alexander Usyk and British boxer Daniel Dubois will take place today, August 26, in the Polish city of Wroclaw.
Before the battle of the boxers' eyes, Alexander Usyk unfurled a flag with the inscription “Bakhmut Fortress. Salty Earth. Iron men.”
On this flag are the signatures of the soldiers of the 11th border detachment and other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces of the fortress city of Bakhmut.
It should be noted that recently the defenders of Bakhmut presented Alexander Usyk with a unique icon. The border guards of the Lviv detachment, to which Alexander had previously visited, thus decided to inspire the boxer to victory and thank him for his support.
The unique icon, at the request of the warriors, was performed by the artist Alexander Klimenko. The artist depicted on the boards from under the ammunition box the Mother of God as a talisman for our athlete.
It was from this box that the border guards fired ammunition at the invaders in the Bakhmut direction.
Thus, the fighters supported Alexander and once again stressed that Ukraine should win on all fronts!
