Patrol police regulate traffic for the safety of pedestrians and drivers

We recommend that you refresh your knowledge of the regulator's signals and repeat paragraph 8.8 of the Traffic Rules:

The traffic controller is facing or with its back to you. His arms are spread to the side, lowered down, or his right hand bent in front of his chest with a wand (red disk) to the left:

Movement is prohibited in all directions. This position of the regulator is equal to the red signal of the traffic light (clause 8.8 (a) of the traffic regulations).
The regulator is facing you. His right hand holding the wand (red disc) is extended forward, that is, towards you:
Movement is prohibited directly, and movement to the right is allowed. This position of the regulator means the red signal of the traffic light with the green arrow on the right (clause 8.8 (b) of the traffic regulations).

The hand of the regulator with the rod is raised up. He is facing you on either side:

This gesture means that now the traffic at the intersection will change. This position means “Attention!” and yellow traffic light signal. Cars and pedestrians must leave the intersection, traffic is prohibited (clause 8.8 (c)).

The regulator is facing you on the left side with the arm extended forward with the rod:

It is allowed to go in any direction: right, left, straight, and also turn around. This signal of the regulator means the green light of the traffic light (clause 8.8 (b) of the traffic regulations).

If the adjuster is on the left side of your car and his arms are lowered down, extended to the sides or bent and pressed to the chest: You can go straight or to the right, first skipping pedestrians. Such a signal means the green light of the traffic light, but with the prohibition of left turns (clause 8.8 (a) of the traffic code).
