During the live broadcast of the Unified News tele-marathon, the spokesman of the National Guard spoke about the formation of assault brigades of the Ministry of Internal Affairs under the single brand “Guard of Offensive”. He also informed in detail about the functions of such units and explained how volunteers can join them.
“In order to make Ukrainian defense even more effective, and to achieve the goal of returning our territories, the state must maintain a fairly stable defense component. This is what the formation of assault brigades is aimed at. In particular, 6 such units are created as part of the National Guard of Ukraine. The bulk of them will be formed on the basis of units with combat experience, where soldiers who have undergone many successful operations serve. Everything possible has been done so that the very mechanism of entry into service in these brigades is simplified as much as possible in the context of submitting documents and obtaining information. Throughout the state, citizens can already choose the assault unit in which they would like to serve in the centers of administrative services,” Ruslan Muzychuk said.
The first, as a National Guard spokesman said, what awaits a recruit in such a brigade is thorough training under the guidance of experienced officers and instructors who are already waiting for motivated volunteers. People will be taught here both in basic military training and in areas — artillery, tank, drone, etc. This will make the warriors truly professionals.
“Volunteers who become stormtroopers receive a number of social guarantees — in particular, a stable and competitive salary, the opportunity to receive housing and treatment and rehabilitation in state medical institutions, to study at departmental universities, to retire on mixed experience, to acquire the status of UBD and other services significant advantages,” Ruslan Muzychuk stressed on the social component of such a service.
He also noted that there are two ways to officially register volunteers in the ranks of the brigades of the “Guards of the Offensive”. This is the signing of a contract or through the mobilization procedure.
