Organizer of porn studio and extortionist for deferment from mobilization: Nikolaev law enforcement officers exposed the attackers
The Nikolaev law enforcement officers exposed the extortionist for the delay from mobilization and reported the suspicion to the perpetrators who recruited women for sexual exploitation.
Police detained a 24-year-old Nikolaev. He demanded money for the influence on persons authorized to perform the functions of the state on the decision not to call for mobilization.
The man promised an acquaintance for 3 thousand 500 dollars to influence the decision of the person authorized to perform the functions of the state on the cancellation of documents on conscription for mobilization and the adoption of a positive decision on the non-conscription of a citizen for military service for mobilization.
After receiving illegal benefits, law enforcement officers detained the offender in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. For his actions, he faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
In addition, law enforcement officers stopped illegal activities of offenders who recruited women for sexual exploitation. 47-year-old resident of Nikolaev organized the work of an interregional online porn studio. In her criminal activities, she involved two women, aged 41 and 44, who served as administrators.
Malefactors recruited girls for the purpose of exploitation as web models on the Internet site. They were looking for those who, due to life circumstances, were willing to follow their instructions, and, taking advantage of their vulnerability, were charged a salary that was significantly less than what was actually accrued on the site.
For the functioning of the porn studio, the participants rented office premises, which were equipped with the appropriate interior, computer equipment, webcams and the Internet. In real time, the so-called models showed clients naked body parts and simulated acts of a sexual nature. For this they received money. In total, their working day could be more than 16 hours.
For a month, each of the girls could earn about two thousand dollars, and the organizer herself received a profit of about 400 thousand hryvnias every month.
At the beginning of July, the organizers and her two accomplices were informed by the investigating police about the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 3 of Art. 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - production, distribution of pornographic video products for the purpose of sale committed by a group of persons according to a preliminary conspiracy.
Now the organizers and the 44-year-old administrator, in agreement with the prosecutor's office, informed the investigators about the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 2 of Art. 149 Criminal Code of Ukraine - trafficking in human beings. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment up to 12 years with or without confiscation of property.
