During the day of May 15, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 190 sorties to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 36 fires have been destroyed. Psychological assistance was provided to 97 people.
For reference: Since the beginning of the war, 94 thousand 499 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling have been carried out, 14 thousand 569 fires were eliminated, 4 thousand 52 people were rescued, and psychological assistance was provided to 214 thousand 246 people.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 147 times, 2,193 explosive items were detected, seized and neutralized, an area of 154.41 hectares was surveyed.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 362 thousand 18 explosive items and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 2 thousand 225 aircraft bombs. The area of about 85 thousand 338 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: in Kharkiv region 18 thousand 35 times, Kyiv region - 7 thousand. 694, Donetsk region — 5 thousand 250, Mykolaiv region — 4 thousand 880, Kherson region — 4 thousand 813, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 602, Sumy region — 1 thousand 993, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 107.
