During the day of April 23, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 127 sorties to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 4 fires were eliminated. Psychological assistance was provided to 52 people.
For reference: Since the beginning of the war, 90 thousand 750 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling have been carried out, 14 thousand 328 fires were eliminated, 4 thousand 9 people were saved, and psychological assistance was provided to 210 thousand 964 people.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 106 times, 299 explosive items were detected, recovered and neutralized, an area of 21 hectares was surveyed.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 349 thousand 488 explosive items and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 2 thousand 209 aircraft bombs. The area of about 83 thousand 130 hectares was surveyed.
