During the day of April 16, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 22 expeditions to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities, 7 fires were eliminated. Psychological assistance was provided to 33 people.
For reference: Since the beginning of the war, 89 thousand 490 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling have been carried out, 14 thousand 301 fires were eliminated, 3 thousand 999 people were rescued, and psychological assistance was provided to 210 thousand 230 people.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 5 times, 10 explosive objects were detected, removed and neutralized, an area of 0.06 hectares was surveyed.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 345 thousand 461 explosive objects and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 2 thousand 206 aircraft bombs. The area of about 82 thousand 307 hectares was surveyed.
