Operational information on the consequences of the conduct of hostilities of the Russian Federation and the work of fire technicians of the State Emergency Service
During the day of August 5, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 166 expeditions to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. Thirteen fires have been destroyed. Psychological assistance was provided to 21 people.
For reference, since the beginning of the war:
- 109 thousand 929 visits were made to eliminate the consequences of shelling;
- 15 thousand 580 fires were eliminated;
- 4 thousand 241 people were rescued;
- provided psychological assistance to 224 thousand 382 people.
The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 106 times, 277 explosive objects were detected, removed and neutralized, the area of 20.96 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 21 thousand 418 times in Kharkiv region, 8 thousand in Kyiv region 370, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 172, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 622, Kherson region — 6 thousand 750, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 820, Sumy region — 2 thousand 360, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 215.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 418 thousand 838 explosive items and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 67 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 92 thousand 068 hectares was surveyed.
