Operational information on the consequences of the conduct of hostilities of the Russian Federation and the work of pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
During the day, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 201 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 9 fires have been eliminated. Psychological assistance was provided to 78 people.
On August 11, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 153 times, 388 explosive objects were detected, recovered and defused, and surveyed an area of 42.02 hectares.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 21 thousand 632 times in Kharkiv region, 8 thousand in Kyiv region. 430, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 297, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 678, Kherson region — 6 thousand 881, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 837, Sumy region — 2 thousand 394, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 226.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 420 thousand 866 explosive items and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 77 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 92 thousand 307 hectares was surveyed.
For reference, since the beginning of the war:
- 111 thousand 33 visits were made to eliminate the consequences of shelling;
- 15 thousand 693 fires were eliminated;
- 4 thousand 252 people were rescued;
- psychological assistance was provided to 224 thousand 814 people.
