Operational information on the consequences of the conduct of hostilities of the Russian Federation and the work of pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
During the past day, August 10, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 209 expeditions to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 21 fires have been destroyed. Psychological assistance was provided to 70 people.
For reference, since the beginning of the war:
- 110 thousand 832 visits were made to eliminate the consequences of shelling; - 15 thousand 684 fires were eliminated; - 4 thousand 252 people were rescued;
- psychological assistance was provided to 224 thousand 736 people.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 140 times, 311 explosive objects were detected, seized and neutralized, an area of 46.85 hectares was surveyed.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 420 thousand 502 explosive items and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 76 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 92 thousand 265 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: in Kharkiv region 21 thousand 592 times, in Kyiv region - 8 thousand. 416, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 267, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 667, Kherson region — 6 thousand 854, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 834, Sumy region — 2 thousand 387, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 223.
