Operational information on the elimination of the consequences of partial flooding in Ukraine (as of 7:00 a.m. on April 24)
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level within the rivers Vit, Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Sozh, Pripyat, Goryn and West Bug in the territories of 9 regions (Volynska, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kiev, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Pohrsky, Pohorsk Ltava, Cherkasy and Chernihiv).
Currently, the hydrological situation is under control. There is a trend towards a decrease in the rate of water level rise in rivers in the north of the country. 1,201 farms (Chernihiv — 488, Kirovohrad — 323, Cherkasy — 124, Dnipropetrovsk — 89, Poltava — 107, Kiev — 52 and Volynska — 18) and 208 houses (Kirovogradskaya — 87, Dnipropetrovsk — 51, Cherkasy — 39, Chernigivska - 29 and Poltava - 2).
In Volyn, Rivne, Cherkasy and Poltava regions, 21 thousand 87 hectares of agricultural land were flooded. Transport connections to 33 settlements were disrupted (Chernihivs'ka — 32 and Kyivska — 1).
In total, the units of the State Emergency Service for the day: 176 people were transported (from the beginning of the works — 3 thousand 587), 87 people and 45 pieces of machinery were involved in the works (since the beginning of the works — 1 thousand 182 people and 511 pieces of machinery), 4 thousand 988 cubic meters of water were pumped out (since the beginning of the works — 29 thousand.. 135 cubic meters).
The hydrological situation is under the enhanced control of the State Emergency Service.
