Operational information on the elimination of the consequences of partial flooding in Ukraine (as of April 25)
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level within the rivers Vit, Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Sozh, Pripyat, Goryn and West Bug in the territories of 9 regions (Volynska, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kiev, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Pohrsky, Pohorsk Ltava, Cherkasy and Chernihiv).
Currently, the hydrological situation is under control. There is a trend towards a decrease in the rate of water level rise in rivers in the north of the country. 854 farms (Chernihiv — 484, Cherkasy — 124, Poltava — 107, Dnipropetrovsk — 70, Kirovogradskaya — 48, Volynska — 14 and Kyivska — 7) and 151 houses (Kirovogradskaya — 48, Cherkasy — 39, Dnipropetrovsk — 33, Chernihiv — 33) 29 and Poltava — 2).
In Volyn, Rivne, Cherkasy and Poltava regions, 20,924 hectares of agricultural land were flooded. Transport connections to 33 settlements were disrupted (Chernihivs'ka — 32 and Kyivska — 1).
In just a day by the units of the State Emergency Service: 202 people were transported (since the beginning of the works — 3 thousand 789), 1 thousand 645 kg of products were delivered (since the beginning of the works 5 thousand 852 kg.) 80 people and 42 pieces of machinery were involved in the works (since the beginning of the works — 1 thousand 263 people and 554 pieces of machinery), 12 thousand 150 cubic meters of water were pumped (from the beginning of the works — 41 thousand 285 cubic meters).
The hydrological situation is under the enhanced control of the State Emergency Service.
