Operational information on the elimination of the consequences of partial flooding in Ukraine (as of 09:00)
As of 9:00 on April 16, according to the information of the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level within the rivers Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Pripyat, Goryn and West Bug in the territories of Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Rivne, Poltava, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions. Currently, the hydrological situation is under control.
916 farms (vegetable gardens, courtyards) remain flooded and 225 houses flooded, of which 187 cottages. In Volyn, Rivne and Cherkasy regions, 10 thousand 747 hectares of agricultural land were flooded. Transport connections to 30 settlements were disrupted: Chernihivs'ka — 29 and Kyivska — 1.
Rescuers from the beginning of the work:
- 24.1 tons of drinking water and 260 kg of food were delivered for the needs of the affected population; - 1 thousand 344 people were transported through water barriers, 22 citizens were
evacuated; - 10 thousand 570 cubic meters of water from 79 households were pumped out.
For monitoring and coordination of actions in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, mobile operational groups of the State Emergency Service are involved, which carry out aerial reconnaissance of flooded areas using UAVs.
In addition, 5 Bogun swamps were sent to the Chernihiv region and 10 vessels were attracted. In total, more than 394 people and 148 pieces of equipment were involved in providing assistance to the population from the State Emergency Service.
The hydrological situation is under the enhanced control of the State Emergency Service.
