Operational information on the elimination of the consequences of partial flooding on the territory of Ukraine
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level within the rivers Vit, Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Sozh, Pripyat, Goryn and West Bug in the territories of 9 regions (Volynska, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kiev, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Pohrsky, Pohorsk Ltava, Cherkasy and Chernihiv).
Currently, the hydrological situation is under control. There is a trend towards a decrease in the rate of water level rise in rivers in the north of the country.
1,225 farms remain flooded (Chernihiv — 488, Kirovohrad — 323, Cherkasy — 135, Dnipropetrovsk — 102, Poltava — 107, Kiev — 52 and Volynska — 18) and 219 houses (Kirovogradskaya — 87, Dnipropetrovsk — 61, Cherkasy — 40, Chernigivska - 29 and Poltava - 2).
In Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, Rivne, Cherkasy and Poltava regions, 21 thousand 215 hectares of agricultural land were flooded. Transport connections to 33 settlements were disrupted (Chernihivs'ka — 32 and Kyivska — 1).
The hydrological situation is under the enhanced control of the State Emergency Service.
