Operational information on the elimination of the consequences of partial flooding on the territory of Ukraine
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level within the rivers Vit, Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Sozh, Pripyat, Goryn and West Bug in the territories of Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Rivne, Poltava, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
Currently, the hydrological situation is under control. There is a trend towards a decrease in the rate of water level rise in rivers in the north of the country.
Currently, 852 two-storey houses remain flooded (Chernihiv — 474, Cherkasy — 182, Dnipropetrovsk — 79, Poltava — 107 and Kiev — 10) and 111 houses (Dnipropetrovsk — 38, Cherkasy — 42, Chernigivska — 29 and Poltava — 2), of which 38 are cottages.
Chernihiv Oblast
There is a rise in the water level on the rivers Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Soz and Vit. In the Dnieper river +1 cm per day, and in Desna another 5 cm was added.
Flooding of 474 farms in 12 settlements and 29 residential buildings in 3 settlements was recorded (p. Mnov, s. Wasteland and s. Prokhoriv of Chernihiv district).
Communication with 29 settlements of Novgorod-Siversky, Koryukovsky, Nizhyn and Chernihiv districts has been disrupted. The units of the State Emergency Service transported 219 people and delivered 10 kg. of food. To provide assistance to the population, 24 persons and 23 equipment of the State Emergency Service (including 5 Bogun swamps and 10 floats) were involved.
Volyn region
7 thousand 198 hectares of agricultural land were flooded (Kamin-Kashirsky — 4 thousand 100 hectares and Kovel — 3 thousand 98 hectares). During the day 83 cubic meters of water were pumped from 3 farms.
Kiev region
In the village of Pogreby, Brovarsky district, 10 household plots remain flooded. Six people were transported from the flood zone.
But in the village of Ivankov, Vyshhorod district, there is no rise in the water level. The forces of local authorities are carrying out work to restore the passage across the Teteriv River.
There is currently a rise in the water level on the Desna River in the settlements of. Litky and s. Rozhny Brovarsky district.
Rivne Oblast
3 thousand 63.5 hectares of agricultural land were flooded (Varashsky — 663 hectares and Sarnensky — 2 thousand 400,5 hectares).
Cherkasy region
On the territory of 16 settlements of Cherkasy and Zolotonisky districts, 42 residential buildings, 182 semi-detached houses and 485 hectares of agricultural land were flooded.
Poltava Oblast
On the territory of 6 settlements of Kremenchug district, 2 residential buildings, 107 farms and 15 hectares of agricultural land were flooded.
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the territory of the region, 38 country houses, 79 farms and 0.5 hectares of agricultural land were flooded. 1 thousand 493 cubic meters of water were pumped out by the units of the State Emergency Service during
the day. In total, 12 thousand 139 cubic meters have been pumped out since the beginning of the work. The
hydrological situation is under the enhanced control of the State Emergency Service.
