Operational information on the elimination of consequences of enemy shelling in Zaporizhzhya region
During the day, the SNS sappers removed 5 120 mm mortar mines, 2 remnants of shells from the rocket system “Hurricane” and “Smerch” and 8 cassette elements in settlements of Zaporizhzhya district.
These explosive objects are destroyed by appropriately trained pyrotechnics in compliance with safety rules.
On May 15, as a result of enemy shelling, rescuers eliminated 3 fires in Pologovskiy district.
Thus, in Gulyaypol, firefighters eliminated the fire of a hangar on a total area of 200 sq.m and the roof of a residential building with an area of 50 sq.m.
Later, in Orihiv, rescuers eliminated the fire of a residential building and a garage on a total area of 80 sq.m.
To ensure the domestic needs of the population, the employees of the State Emergency Service carried out the delivery of 15 tons of technical water in Orihiv and Gulyaypol, Pologovsk district.
In total, 43 rescuers and 10 units of equipment were involved from the State Emergency Department to carry out humanitarian demining, fire elimination and assistance.
The units of the State Emergency Service are on high alert and in the territories where the fighting continues, after the end of the shelling, they are involved in the elimination of the consequences of emergency events.
