Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
During May 31, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 191 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. Thirteen fires have been destroyed. Psychological assistance was provided to 103 people.
For reference: Since the beginning of the war, 97 thousand 231 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling have been carried out, 14 thousand 744 fires were eliminated, 4 thousand 74 people were rescued, and psychological assistance was provided to 215 thousand 904 people.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 139 times, 362 explosive items were detected, recovered and defused, including 9 aircraft bombs, and surveyed an area of 264 hectares.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 394 thousand 749 explosive objects and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 2 thousand 958 aircraft bombs. The area of about 87 thousand 801 hectares was surveyed.
