Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
During the day of May 28, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 86 expeditions to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 10 fires were eliminated. Psychological assistance was provided to 111 people.
For reference: Since the beginning of the war, 96 thousand 670 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling have been carried out, 14 thousand 708 fires were eliminated, 4 thousand 63 people were rescued, and psychological assistance was provided to 215 thousand 585 people.
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 41 times, 93 explosive objects were detected, seized and neutralized, and the area of 3.1 hectares was surveyed.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 393 thousand 126 explosive objects and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 2 thousand 907 aircraft bombs. The area of about 87 thousand 274 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 18 thousand 533 times in Kharkiv region, 7 thousand in Kyiv region. 807, Donetsk region — 5 thousand 488, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand, Kherson region — 5 thousand. 158, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 648, Sumy region — 2 thousand 80, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 110.
