Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
During the day of August 29, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 196 expeditions to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 20 fires have been eliminated. Psychological assistance was provided to 89 people.
On August 29, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 147 times, 238 explosive objects were detected, recovered and defused, and surveyed an area of 131.22 hectares.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: in Kharkiv region — 22 thousand 213 times, Kyiv region — 8 thousand. 533, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 621, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 824, Kherson region — 7 thousand 240, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 896, Sumy region — 2 thousand 433, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 273.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 425 thousand 257 explosive items and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 086 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 93 thousand 067 hectares was surveyed.
For reference, since the beginning of the war:
— 113 thousand 889 visits were made to eliminate the consequences of shelling;
— 16 thousand 2 fires were eliminated;
— 4 thousand 307 people were rescued;
— provided psychological assistance to 225 thousand 743 persons.
