Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
The units of the State Emergency Service carried out 53 sorties during the day to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 16 fires have been destroyed. Psychological assistance was provided to 19 people.
On August 27, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 5 times, 5 explosive objects were detected, seized and neutralized, an area of 0.05 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: in Kharkiv region — 22 thousand 122 times, Kyiv region — 8 thousand. 517, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 565, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 801, Kherson region — 7 thousand 186, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 890, Sumy region — 2 thousand 422, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 269.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 424 thousand 701 explosive items and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 084 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 92 thousand 856 hectares was surveyed.
For reference, since the beginning of the war:
— 113 thousand 482 visits were made to eliminate the consequences of shelling; — 15 thousand 958 fires were eliminated; — 4 thousand 300 people were rescued;
— psychological assistance was provided to 225 thousand 629 persons.
