Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
199 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities were carried out by rescue units during the day of August 18. They eliminated 21 fires and provided psychological assistance to 72 people.
The pyrotechnic units of the SNSS were involved 138 times. Found, recovered and defused 392 explosive objects. Surveyed an area of 30.43 hectares.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: in the Kharkiv region 21 thousand 871 times, in the Kiev region - 8 thousand. 465, Donetsk region - 7 thousand 417, Mykolaiv region - 5 thousand 732, Kherson region - 7 thousand 021, Chernihiv region - 4 thousand 853, Sumy region - 2 thousand 397, Cherkasy region - 1 thousand 247.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 422 thousand 998 units of explosive objects and 2 thousand 892 kilograms of explosive have been defused. Including 3082 aerial bombs. They surveyed an area of more than 92 thousand hectares.
In addition, rescuers from the beginning of the war:
made 112 thousand 142 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling; eliminated 15 thousand 792 fires; rescued 4 thousand 269
people; provided psychological assistance to 225 thousand 347 people.
