Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
During the day of August 16, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 166 expeditions to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities. 12 fires have been eliminated. Psychological assistance was provided to 45 people.
For reference, since the beginning of the war:
-111 thousand 785 visits were made to eliminate the consequences of shelling; -15 thousand 763 fires were eliminated; -4 thousand 259 people were rescued;
-psychological assistance was provided to 225 thousand 235 people
During the day, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 112 times, 248 explosive objects were detected, seized and neutralized, and an area of 31.87 hectares was surveyed.
Since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 422 thousand 096 explosive objects and 2 thousand 892 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 80 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 92 thousand 425 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 21 thousand 788 times in Kharkiv region, 8 thousand in Kyiv region 453, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 378, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 714, Kherson region — 6 thousand 981, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 849, Sumy region — 2 thousand 397, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 242.
