Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
During the day, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 209 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities, eliminated 22 fires and provided psychological assistance to 67 people.
On August 7, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were involved 138 times, 581 explosive items were detected, seized and neutralized, an area of 47.49 hectares was surveyed.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 21 thousand 469 times in Kharkiv region, 8 thousand in Kyiv region. 383, Donetsk region — 7 thousand 195, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 634, Kherson region — 6 thousand 776, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 822, Sumy region — 2 thousand 365, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 216.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 419 thousand 441 explosive items and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 69 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 92 thousand 133 hectares was surveyed.
Since the beginning of the war, 110 thousand 219 expeditions have been carried out, 15 thousand 628 fires have been eliminated, 4 thousand 249 people have been rescued, and psychological assistance has been provided to 224 thousand 469 people.
