Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the consequences of hostilities by the Russian Federation
During the day, the units of the State Emergency Service carried out 206 visits to eliminate the consequences of shelling by the occupiers of settlements and infrastructure facilities, eliminated 12 fires and provided psychological assistance to 25 people.
On August 2, the units of the State Emergency Service were involved 147 times, 589 explosive items were detected, seized and neutralized, and examined an area of 41.38 hectares.
Most often, pyrotechnic units worked: 21 thousand 300 times in Kharkiv region, 8 thousand in Kyiv region. 342, Donetsk region — 7 thousand. 102, Mykolaiv region — 5 thousand 590, Kherson region — 6 thousand. 668, Chernihiv region — 4 thousand 809, Sumy region — 2 thousand 342, Cherkasy region — 1 thousand 205.
In total, since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, 417 thousand 693 explosive items and 2 thousand 891 kg of explosives have been defused, including 3 thousand 65 aircraft bombs. The area of more than 91 thousand 980 hectares was surveyed.
Since the beginning of the war, 109 thousand 367 trips have been made, 15 thousand 551 fires have been eliminated, 4 thousand 239 people have been rescued, and psychological assistance has been provided to 224 thousand 236 people.
