Operational information of the State Emergency Service on the elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling in Kharkiv region
On the afternoon of May 31, the private sector and the market area of the city of Volchansk, Chuguev district, were under intense shelling. During this time there were 5 major fires in the city.
At 08:23 an enemy outfit hit a private residential building, which caught fire on an area of 200 sq.m. At the risk of repeated shelling, firefighters from the village of Vilcha at 11:35 eliminate the fire. There are no casualties.
At 13:45 the rescuers of the village of Vilcha went to extinguish 3 fires caused by the occupiers at once. The roof of a private house on an area of 30 sq.m., an elevator on an area of 150 sq.m. and 6 trade pavilions on the market on an area of 300 sq.m. burned. The last cell of these fires was eliminated at 3:34 p.m.
At 15:49 another 5 trade pavilions were occupied as a result of the repeated shelling of the market. The area of this fire was 1000 sq.m. Rescuers eliminated the fire at 7:10 p.m.
At 11:20 enemy shelling was also hit by the s. The inhabitants of the Kurilov community of the Kupyansk district. There were no casualties, no injuries and no fires. The specialists of the State Emergency Service conducted an examination of the affected area and found damage to a private house and summer kitchen.
