Operation “Migrant”: about 300 violators found in four regions of Ukraine
More than 150 illegal migrants were found in Kyiv, 127 in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 57 violators of the legislation on the legal status of foreigners and OBG - in Zaporizhia and 14 - in Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
Migrant workers of Kyiv region carried out targeted preventive measures to supervise and control the implementation of legislation in the migration sphere under the conditional name “Migrant” in the period from 11 to 22 December. Inspections took place in places of concentration of foreigners: markets, hostels, establishments of national cuisines, construction sites, etc. As a result, 156 violators of the legislation on the legal status of foreigners and stateless persons were identified. They were fined in the amount of 583 thousand 100 UAH. As for 60 illegal migrants, decisions were made to forcibly return to their countries of origin, another 12 were deported outside Ukraine. At the same time, 32 foreigners are prohibited from further entry into the territory of Ukraine. 9 illegal migrants are placed at the Temporary Staying Points of Foreigners and Stateless Persons.
But the specialists of the Dnipropetrovsk DMS conducted checks from December 4 to 22. They identified 70 illegal migrants, in respect of which 41 decisions were made on forced return to their countries of origin and 29 decisions on forced expulsion from Ukraine. In addition, 127 persons were found and brought to administrative responsibility for violations of the migration legislation of Ukraine. Regarding 12 foreigners, decisions were made to ban entry into the territory of Ukraine. 8 violators were placed at the point of temporary stay of foreigners and stateless persons.
Operation “Migrant” took place in Zaporizhzhia from December 4 to 22. 57 violators of the legislation on the legal status of foreigners and OBG were identified in the region. Administrative penalties in the amount of 153 thousand 680 UAH were imposed. Most violators are citizens of the Russian Federation, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The DMS in the Khmelnytsky region also summed up the results of preventive measures. They took place between December 11 and 22. 14 violators of the law on the legal status of foreigners and stateless persons were identified, of which 4 were illegal migrants. During the operation, 14 decisions were made on the imposition of administrative penalties for a total amount of 39 thousand 950 UAH.
