Alexey Sergeev: Hundreds of shelling a day will not stop employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the duty to save lives
“Russia is shelling Ukrainian cities every day. We record about 180 such attacks every day. In particular, there were 203 such facts yesterday. Police, rescuers and medics are the first to arrive at the scene, carry out rescue measures. They document the fact of committing a crime,” Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Alexey Sergeev said on the air of the All-Ukrainian TV Marathon “United News”.
He added that now the Russian Federation is trying to inflict maximum losses, inflicts a second missile strike, when rescuers are already working at the scene of the shelling, such facts are not isolated.
“Such terrorist tactics took place in Pokrovsk, when 2 missiles flew, where many civilians, policemen and rescuers were injured,” says the Deputy Minister.
Alexey Sergeev also spoke about the promotion of the “Guard of Offensive”: “Our brigades are part of the defense forces and directly take an active part in assault and offensive actions every day. Their work consists of repelling and deterring armed aggression, conducting offensive and offensive actions. And it should be noted that the fighters of the “Offensive Guard” show themselves as highly motivated and disciplined warriors who, thanks to the proper level of combat training, coordination and pre-conducted exercises, carry out successful offensive actions.”
In addition, the police general focused on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“A meeting was held with the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Minister of Education and Science under the coordination of the Office of the President of Ukraine. First of all, the safety of students and educators during the school year is considered, taking into account all war threats and dangers. The issue of sheltering students during missile threats and dangers was considered, and the plan of implementation of security projects implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the Ministry of Education and Science to create a safe educational environment was considered in detail. We are talking about security educators and about safety classes, of which almost 1500 have already been created in educational institutions,” Sergeev said.
A topical issue of the broadcast was the discussion of the criminogenic situation in Ukraine. Thus, according to the Deputy Minister, the analysis of the criminogenic situation in the state shows that it is stable and controlled by law enforcement agencies.
“Despite the fact that the number of criminal offenses registered by the National Police has increased, this is primarily due to war crimes, premeditated murders committed by the aggressor state and the facts of the disappearance of citizens. Now the police have documented more than 90 thousand such crimes. If we analyze the overall criminal crime, it should be noted that thanks to the measures taken by law enforcement agencies, their number is significantly reduced. This applies to domestic, premeditated murder and grievous bodily harm. The number of rapes, thefts, robberies, robberies and other crimes, which always accounted for the largest share, also decreased. Only the number of facts of online fraud has increased significantly,” Sergey summed up.
