Occupiers shelled Kharkiv and Donetsk region: there are wounded civilians
Over the past day, the army of the Russian Federation struck in the Donetsk region and Kharkiv region. In particular, the occupiers attacked the settlements of Bogodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuguivsky, Izyum and Kupyansk districts in Kharkiv region.
In the village of Petropavlivka, Kupyansk district, a private household was damaged. Private houses, power lines, a shop building and a car were damaged as a result of shelling in the village of Yurchenkove, Chuguev district.
In the city of Volchansk, Chuguevsky district, the building of a civil enterprise and private residential buildings were destroyed. In the morning of August 25, the occupiers shelled the village of Podoli, Kupyansk district. A 59-year-old man was injured. He was taken to the hospital. Investigative and operational teams and explosives technicians worked at the scene.
Also on August 24, 16 Russian strikes on the housing sector were recorded. The occupation forces used the R-37 rocket, the S-300 air defense system, the Grad RSFSR, artillery, mortars.
12 settlements were under fire: the cities of Avdiyivka, Kurakhovo, the villages of Krasnotorka, Kurdyumovka, Shcherbinovka, the villages of Klishchiivka, Maksymivka, Novoselivka Persha, Novoukrayinka, Prelesne, Skuchne, Torske.
20 civilian objects were damaged — 11 residential buildings, critical infrastructure, shop, administrative building, poultry house, cars. The enemy carried out an airstrike on the Kramatorsk district with no casualties and no damage.
With artillery, the Russians covered Kurakhovo, wounding 5 civilians. Damaged 3 apartment buildings, a supermarket, an administrative building, a critical infrastructure facility, cars.
The occupiers of Prelesne attacked with two missiles from the S-300 air defense system - destroyed the poultry house. In Shcherbinovka, as a result of enemy shelling, 5 private homes were destroyed. Three more houses were damaged in the Skuchnyi Ocheretin community.
Police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
