Occupiers shelled Chernihiv: there are dead and wounded
Today, August 19, around the 12th day, the occupiers struck the center of Chernihiv. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stressed - these are the consequences of being close to a terrorist state.
“The Russian missile hit just in the city center, in our Chernihiv. Square, polytechnic, theater. An ordinary Saturday that Russia has turned into a day of pain and loss. There are dead, there are wounded. My condolences to those who lost their loved ones,” the President wrote on his Telegram channel.
All services work on site: rescuers, police, medics.
“We will do even more to consolidate the world against Russian terror. We will give even more to our state to protect life. Russia must lose this war so that life wins,” Volodymyr Zelensky added.
