Registration of the first ID-card abroad
Considering the number of our compatriots who were forced abroad due to the war, the migration service provided for the possibility of issuing the first passport in the form of an ID-card for citizens of Ukraine who are in another country.
Until recently, young Ukrainians had to specially come to their homeland for this purpose and spend money on the road and time waiting for a ready passport.
Recall that diplomatic missions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine do not provide such a service, so this function was taken over by foreign units of the “Passport Service”, whose network is constantly expanding.
To obtain a first passport abroad, Ukrainians can apply to one of the departments in Warsaw, Krakow, Gdańsk or Wroclaw with the following package of documents:
— birth certificate;
— passport of a citizen of Ukraine of one or two parents;
— certificate of registration of the place of residence (if available);
— registration number of the taxpayer's account card or notification of refusal to accept it (if available).
