Border guards from Ukraine have been trained in Poland
The event took place within the framework of cooperation between the border services of the Republic of Poland and Ukraine.
At the invitation of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland, officers of the State Border Service of Ukraine units of administrative and jurisdictional activity took part in professional training at the Specialized Training Center of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland (city. Luban).
Ukrainian border guards got acquainted with the experience of Polish colleagues in the sphere of organization and provision of administrative measures for violators of migration legislation, as well as with European standards of work on the implementation of verification of compliance by foreigners and stateless persons with the conditions of entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland and the established procedure of stay, procedure bringing these persons to responsibility for violation of the rules of stay and the application of expulsion measures to them. Also, law enforcement officers got acquainted with the peculiarities of the legislation on the legalization of foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Poland, their residence and employment, implementation of procedures for the provision of international protection and other aspects relevant to this sphere.
During the training, representatives of the Specialized Training Center and staff of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) conducted practical exercises with border guards.
The State Border Service of Ukraine, with the support of international partners, forms border security mechanisms that comply with European values and standards.
