An officer of the civil protection service saved the life of a man in Lviv region
Yuri Vasilyshyn, senior lieutenant of the civil protection service, is already accustomed to unpredictable situations, as he works as the head of the department in the 46th state fire and rescue post of the city. Khodoriv Lviv region, and always ready to help. But this time his indifference turned out to be special, because the event happened outside of work.
When Yuri was driving on the road near the village of Demyanka-Nadnistryansk, Stryisky district, his gaze suddenly stopped on the car, which in front of the man took off the road and overturned. Without hesitation, Yuri stopped and got out of his car to help.
He approached the car and quickly assessed the situation. The injured man needed help. Yuri did not hesitate using his skills and experience to pull the man out of the car, and also disconnected the car battery to avoid any danger of fire or explosion.
He called the Rescue Service “101”, reported the accident. The man waited for the arrival of emergency services, after which he transferred the injured driver to the doctors.
