The officer of the National Guard in pseudo Elf told about the fighting in the Kreminsk direction
The officer of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade of the National Guard Elf told about the nature of the fighting in the forests near Kreminna and compared it with the experience of the clashes obtained in the Balakliai and Izyum directions.
“I have been in the National Guard since February 26 last year. I barely graduated from the radiophysics faculty at KHNU named after him. Karazin, and a full-scale invasion began. They were after Izyum. Then we moved to the Yavir, Balakley direction. They kept the defense there,” says Elf.
In the Balakley direction, the guards faced more intense artillery influence from the Russians. The diversionary and reconnaissance groups of the invaders constantly searched for weak points in the defenses of the guards and related units.
“The battalion from which I started went to Kreminna. That was my first rotation there. Then he went back to his battalion. Over time, the situation there has changed, it is getting hotter,” Elf explains. Here is one such episode that happened in early February. — It was the Pskov landing. Closer to lunch, they started storming us. All in white robes. Now I don't remember if there was snow or not, but they were visible. Repelled, they escaped, but not all. Some remained “fertilizer” under the pines.”
Firing fire contacts and repelling assaults became commonplace. In one of these battles, Elf received three bullet wounds.
“He was wounded during an evening attempt by the enemy to storm our positions. The day before, we burned their tank and they were “a little offended”. We had a powerful squad of “elves”, almost everyone had specialized optics. Therefore, we noticed the “orcs” in time, began to work on them. They were a little more than we expected, they came at us in a frontal attack. I started working on them with RPG. And then I was wounded by an arrow in the upper arm, then it pierced my arm and got stuck in the rib, and as I was moving, the third bullet caught me in the shoulder blade,” Elf recalls.
Analyzing the battles in the Balakliai and Kreminsk directions, Elf notes:
“The Rashists are trying to use all the weapons they have, for example, to intimidate us with aircraft. However, they do not change their habits very often, they assess our readiness very contemptuously, this is what we play on, and win, we find some unique chances to resist them. They have a lot of Chinese drones, but we have a lot of specialists. We have very cool air scouts. We have very cool kamikaze drone operators. Very cool guys who drop gifts,” says Elf.
Guards of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade are a specific component of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. They are professionally destroying Russian invaders on the eastern borders and desperately fighting for the will and sovereignty of Ukrainian lands.
