A National Guard officer said that it gives him strength in the fight against the enemy
“I have a son to be an example to and a family to protect. They believe in me, and I believe in our Ukraine and our victory!”, — with these words the national guard Vladislav, who came to defend Ukraine after mobilization, began his story.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops on the territory of our state, the officer has been defending the Nikolaev region side by side with his comrades in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine.
“February 24 turned my whole life upside down!.. Before lunch, I could not even drink water — I was trying to gather my thoughts to understand how I could be most useful in the fight against non-human beings who have invaded our country,” recalls the National Guard.
But there was no time to think, because the enemy every hour tried to penetrate deeper and deeper into his native country. Therefore, having quickly gathered the necessary, Vladislav arrived at the nearest military unit of the National Guard.
“My experience of service in the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs became decisive in choosing the National Guard as the structure where I can most effectively apply my knowledge and skills to protect our land from the invaders, because I understand what tasks are in front of me,” says Vladislav.
The man recalls that as soon as he, along with the guards of his unit, arrived at one of the objects taken under guard and defense, immediately, in the first hours after arrival, shelling from RSZO and barrel artillery began.
“Yes, at first it was scary and this is normal — we are not afraid of anything stupid, but we coped with it. Everyone understood how to react in any development of events, from the first day we constantly worked out combat coordination,” the officer says.
Every day, Vladislav, like all Ukrainian defenders, deservedly opposes the Russian invaders. Despite the constant shelling, he and his brothers skillfully and confidently carry out their tasks and their fighting spirit is unbreakable, because they are united by only one thing - the desire to expel the enemy from their native lands as soon as possible.
