Occupiers in Kherson region: humanitarian headquarters destroyed, one person killed and five wounded
In the Kherson region, the Russian army carried out 67 shelling and fired more than 300 shells, killed 1 person, wounded 5 residents, including a child. The occupiers attacked civilians with RSPs, mortars, artillery, tanks, grenade launchers, an anti-tank missile complex, and UAVs.
In Kherson district alone, 61 objects of residential development and livelihoods were damaged by enemy shelling: 47 private and 3 apartment buildings, a humanitarian headquarters, a house of culture, garages, cars and gas pipes.
From the rocket systems of volley fire, the Russian military shelled the village Sofiivka of the Stanislavskaya hromada. About 10 “raids” were recorded there, enemy shells killed a 57-year-old woman, and at least 7 houses were damaged in the village. The village of Stanislav was also under fire from the RSVP, 15 private houses were damaged there. In the village of Burgunka, an artillery shell damaged a house of culture.
From the RSVP, the occupiers massively shelled the center of Kherson. Enemy shells damaged apartment buildings and private houses, humanitarian headquarters premises, garages and a car. Four civilians were injured, including an 8-year-old girl. The victims have mine-blast injuries, contusions, craniocerebral injuries, fractures and multiple gunshot wounds. The town of Antonovka was under artillery fire, where a 36-year-old man was wounded and 6 houses were damaged. The Korabel, Northern and HBK neighborhoods were also hit by shelling. Also, due to Russian shelling, fires broke out, dry grass and shrubs burned. Police, emergency services and ambulances worked at the sites of “arrivals”.
The police received a report that on July 8, in a field near Novovoznesenske village of Vysokopil community, during field work, the tractor driver ran into an enemy anti-personnel mine. As a result of the explosion, the equipment was damaged, the driver was not injured.
