Toretsk shelling: 22 people rescued while extinguishing fire caused by enemy attack
In the middle of the night, the Russians attacked Toretsk, resulting in fires in the apartments of two high-rise buildings. At the scene, rescuers established that there was a burning of apartments from 3 to 9 floors in two entrances of one of the 9-story buildings, as well as apartments from 2 to 9 floors of the neighboring 9 nine-story buildings.
During the extinguishing of the fire, emergency responders rescued 22 people (including 1 disabled child). Due to the dangerous factors of the fire, people could not leave their homes on their own. Also, 7 people were evacuated from the entrance of the nine-story building.
During the elimination of the fire in the apartment on the 7th floor, the body of the deceased was found (gender and personal data are specified).
As of 15:00 on June 2, the fires of apartments in two nine-storey apartment buildings were eliminated on a total area of 2270 sq. m.
