Shelling by the occupiers of the Kherson region: a local resident was killed and two people were wounded
Russian forces continue to terrorize the civilians of the de-occupied territories by shelling Beryslav and Kherson areas with rocket systems of volley fire, mortars, heavy artillery and UAVs.
The police opened 32 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian army in the Kherson region. Russians covered Stanislav village with artillery fire, an 80-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman were wounded there. The village of Bilozerka was under heavy shelling, the building of the local hospital and residential buildings were damaged. A 67-year-old woman died in her own home as a result of a direct hit of a shell in the house. The body of the pensioner was found under the rubble.
In Kherson, the neighborhoods of Krabel, HBC and the coastal zone were attacked by the enemy. Investigative and operational teams of the police worked at the sites of the shelling, which collected physical evidence and documented the consequences.
Over the past day, the police responded to 297 statements and reports of citizens about criminal offenses and other events. According to Article 438 “Violation of the laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, 32 criminal proceedings have been opened.
