Defense, offensive actions, countersabotage work: Serhiy Deineko noted the daily contribution of border guards in the fight against the enemy
The head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine visited the positions of border guards who defend Ukraine in the hottest areas of the war. The head of the border department talked with the defenders, checked the security of the units, discussed with the leaders certain issues of logistics.
Assessing the actions of the units that took part in the offensive actions to liberate settlements, Serhiy Deyneko noted the invaluable daily contribution for our state.
“We remember and are proud of each of our heroes who gave their lives for our country. We will do everything possible to put our wounded boys in order as soon as possible. Numerous injuries indicate the conditions in which you serve. But you did not ask, did not flee, did not beg to be taken away, you are real and I am very proud of you. The war is one for all and we are all defending our state,” said Serhiy Deineko, Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
In general, he noted the courage of the border guards of the Chopsky, Chernihiv, Lviv, Kramatorsk detachments, units of the “Steel Border” brigade, which perform combat tasks to counter Russian aggression. During the talks with the servicemen, the focus was on defense issues, offensive actions, counterinsurgency work.
Unit leaders noted that the situation in their positions remains tense. In particular, in the Avdiyivske and Mariinsky directions, the enemy does not stop offensive actions, which are accompanied by constant massive shelling. In the Kupian-Liman direction, the enemy actively conducts aerial reconnaissance, carries out shelling and there remains a constant risk of the use of sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
“I hope that the moment will come as soon as possible when, after our victory, we will be able to do our immediate work — to protect the state border, the internationally recognized border. It will not be easy, we still have a lot of work, take care of yourself and your comrades,” the head of the department added.
Serhiy Deineko noted the effective use of artillery tools, which have recently begun to be used by units of the State Border Guard Service.
