It will be possible to exchange a driver's license in the departments of the State Enterprise “Document”, which is part of the sphere of management of the DMS
In particular, the bodies of the State Migration Service will accept applications for the exchange of driver's licenses, send them for verification in the CCC, for printing in the state-owned enterprise “Document” and issue to citizens. The corresponding order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “On approval of the Procedure for the interaction of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and authorized entities Acts” registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on May 11.
This act regulates the procedure for the interaction of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the DMS to ensure the exchange of driver's licenses.
According to statistics, the service for the exchange of licenses is one of the most demanded, especially during the martial law. Last year, more than 500 thousand citizens used it, and since the beginning of this year, more than 150 thousand.
“Thus, we are expanding the list of entities authorized to provide this administrative service. A citizen has the right to choose where it will be more convenient and faster for him to receive a state service,” explained Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapyaty.
