Exchanged more than 25,000 driver's licenses through SE “Dokument” abroad
Many citizens of Ukraine are now abroad. Most - left abroad because of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. However, life goes on, and therefore, Ukrainians abroad need administrative services. Therefore, the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the State Migration Service of Ukraine provided an opportunity to obtain a service for the exchange of driver's licenses through the mobile and technical complexes of servicing citizens of the State Enterprise “Dokument”.
In this way, more than 25,000 driver's licenses have been exchanged abroad in 8 months. In service centers, citizens of Ukraine exchange the Ukrainian driver's license for the same Ukrainian modern model.
The driver's license exchange service is relevant in the case when:
● the existing document has expired;
● the inscriptions on the plastic sheet are wiped and not readable;
● the person has changed personal data (surname, first name, patronymic, place of registration or gender);
● the driver wants to replace the old model certificate with a new one.
However, it is not yet possible to recover a lost or stolen driver's license abroad.
The centers of the State Enterprise “Dokument” provide the service of service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 6 European countries:
● Poland (Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Krakow)
● Czech Republic (Prague)
● Slovakia (Bratislava)
● Germany (Berlin and Cologne)
● Turkey (Istanbul)
● Spain (Valencia and Madrid)

In Ukraine, e-driver's licenses are valid, and abroad they are not regulated by international law. If a citizen has gone abroad and has an exclusively electronic driver's license, which is not valid outside our state, then in the centers of the State Enterprise “Document” you can exchange it for a plastic document that is recognized abroad.
