Never ignore the marking of sappers on the mined territory, — the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
In the Chernihiv region, the demining of territories visited by the enemy continues. Here the Russian aggressor left behind many dangerous surprises — anti-tank, anti-infantry, signal mines, stretching from hand grenades. The other day, in one of the liberated areas, our sappers found the remains of 152-caliber artillery shells that did not explode.
“Two TM-62M anti-tank mines have been found at the moment,” said Mykhailo Ilyiv, head of the pyrotechnic works group of the Emergency Rescue Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region. “Today we are making every effort, we are working to make this territory safe. After all, as practice shows, around where the fighting took place, there are various checkpoints, and people want to come, see, find something for themselves, drag some boxes from shells. And this, despite the fact that we put up our signs - “Dangerous - mines!”.
The SNS strongly warns not to ignore the warnings of sappers, who immediately inform local authorities about the detection of explosive objects and carrying out mining work in such an area. Rescuers are also asked not to visit forests and woodlands where the enemy was located and not to collect mushrooms in these areas this year.
“People drove over mushrooms, the car hit an anti-tank mine and blew up. 4 people died,” Mykhailo Ilyiv reported.
Currently, on the territory of the Chernihiv region, the employees of the State Emergency Service have destroyed more than 43 thousand explosive objects of various calibers. These are artillery ammunition, mortar mines, hand grenades, small arms and ammunition for it, aviation fuel bombs, anti-infantry and anti-tank mines, etc.
