Non-payment of almost UAH 40 million in taxes: partners of the world taxi platform received suspicion
The foreign company sent funds to Ukraine to its partners to pay for the work of drivers. In order not to pay taxes, those involved hid money without filing appropriate reports.
The funds paid by passengers for taxi services were transferred to the electronic wallets of the non-resident company. Subsequently, the foreign company sent them to its partners to pay for the work of drivers. In order not to pay taxes, those involved did not submit relevant reports to the tax authorities, thereby hiding the profits received. The amount of damage caused as a result of such actions is almost UAH 40 million.
On the basis of the collected evidence, two individual entrepreneurs and the chief accountant of the company — partners of the world taxi platform — were informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 212 (Evasion of taxes, fees (mandatory payments) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
