“Incredible”: border guards presented a photo exhibition with stories of servicemen
On April 27, the capital held the opening of an exhibition of photographs with women serving in the State Border Service of Ukraine - “Incredible”. Implemented the idea of a separate checkpoint “Kyiv”, in order to promote and support women in the military.
Ten photo works were decorated with personal stories of each of the heroines of the project. In particular, these are women from Kyiv region and Donetsk border patrol, who on February 24, 2022 were one of the first to meet the Russian occupiers in Mariupol:
“Our photo project is a confirmation not only of Ukrainian beauty, but also of courage. After all, each of you remained in line and became a defender of our state. You manage to be both military, and wives, and loving mothers. I am proud of each and every one of you. I am sure that these photos will be seen in other cities of Ukraine and abroad,” said Oleg Trofimenko, the head of the OKPP “Kyiv”.
Each of the heroines of the project “Incredible” has its own incredible history of formation in the State Fiscal Service. Someone saw the horrors of the war in occupied Mariupol in March 2022, someone held the defense of the capital when the enemy broke into our territories. But none laid down their arms and continued to serve the people of Ukraine with honor. Among these is Julia, whose path recently began in the assault brigade of the Guard of the Offensive - the “Steel Frontier”. After military exercises, the woman will go to liberate Ukrainian lands from Russian invaders.
