“We are not going to retreat one meter!” — border guard with the nickname “Dealer”
Andrei has been defending Ukraine in the south of our country since May this year. And until the day he joined the military, he worked in a prestigious international enterprise as a sales specialist. Therefore, he received the nickname “Dealer”.
Together with his brothers, Andriy daily hones his combat skills and performs tasks to provide fire cover to the state border, in order to “hospitably” meet the enemy if necessary.
Four days before the full-scale invasion, the guy got married. He clearly knows that he is defending the most precious thing — his family and his land. The hardest thing for him now, he admits, is being away from his family. After all, the border guard is waiting for meetings with his beloved from the beginning of summer.
“But despite this, and for the safety of our families, we are combat-ready, motivated and ready for any action. Most of the guys are from around here. We are on our land, no one is afraid of us here. We will not give up a piece of Ukrainian territory, and we are not going to retreat one meter,” says the “Dealer”.
