Scientific plan for 2024 and work of higher education institutions: IV meeting of the permanent advisory body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held
On December 6, 2023, under the chairmanship of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk, the IV meeting of the permanent advisory body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” was held.
During the meeting, the participants of the event approved the Plan of scientific and scientific research work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2024, discussed current and promising directions of scientific research in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, coordination of scientific and scientific and technical activities and organization of work on processing orders for the implementation of research works of higher education institutions, belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Border Guard Service, the State Emergency Service and the NGU.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs participates in the formation and maintenance of scientific and scientific and technical policy of the state in the sphere of protection of public relations related to the protection and protection of human rights and freedoms, ensuring public safety and order, combating crime, road safety, as well as state border protection, civil protection and migration immigration (immigration and emigration). It is the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is an advisory body, that should direct its efforts to coordinate the scientific activities of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system and provide the Minister with recommendations on policy formation in this area,” said Inna Yashchuk.
The State Secretary added that this year the scientific activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is carried out for the first time according to the Unified Scientific Activity Plan for all bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, we have developed
unified approaches to the implementation of the scientific policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Today, each of those present in the hall has something to be proud of, because according to the results of the competition for the best scientific, scientific, technical and vocational guidance products in the apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, territorial bodies, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which was held on the basis of Odessa State University of internal affairs, all received prize places in one or another nomination. We see a tendency to increase the number of scientific products submitted to the competition, its subject matter indicates that every scientist of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is working on topical issues of the present day, which reflect the need of the state to regulate the peculiarities of the application of the norms of law in the conditions of martial law”, - emphasized Inna Yashchuk.
Separately, during the meeting, the members of the permanent advisory body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs paid attention to the issue of strengthening the positions of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in national and international ratings and approval of the topic of dissertation research taking into account the needs of structural units of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
Finally, the results of the meeting were summed up and the work plan of the permanent advisory body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “Scientific Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” for 2024 was approved.
